PSD students receive AP scholar awards

Congratulations to Poudre School District students who earned Advanced Placement scholar awards!

Approximately 380 students from PSD high schools received awards at three levels based on their national AP test results at the end of the 2022-23 school year. The highest possible score on exams for these college-level courses is a five.

AP scholar awards include:

  • AP Scholars with Distinction earn an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
  • AP Scholars with Honor earn an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and grades of 3.25 or higher on four or more of these exams.
  •  AP Scholars earn grades of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.

Students who earn scores of three, four or five on AP exams may receive credit from college or universities, saving hundreds or thousands of dollars in post-secondary tuition costs.
