Title VI Native American Education Program

The Title VI Indian Education Program provides academic, cultural, and community support for American Indian and Alaska Native students. Through this grant, we will support Indigenous students by offering culturally relevant programs, creating safe and welcoming spaces, and fostering peer connections to build a sense of belonging. Partnerships with local elders, educators, and Tribal communities will provide intergenerational learning and cultural experiences. We will also collaborate with the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) on planning, needs assessments, and program improvement, while ensuring all activities meet federal Title VI guidance.

Student must be enrolled in Poudre School District and:

• The child's parent or guardian identifies the child as being of American Indian or Alaska Native descent. 
• If the student, parent, and/or grandparent is enrolled in their tribe, they are encouraged to complete the Title VI Student Eligibility Certification (506) form and send it to Jenna Altomare (jaltomare@psdschools.org).
