Congratulations, Class of 2024!
Every spring as I prepare my speeches for graduation ceremonies, I like to sit down with a group of soon-to-be graduates to get to know them better and learn about their high school experiences.

PSD wouldn't be the same without our volunteers! Whether it's lending a helping hand in the classroom, re-shelving books, and more, volunteers play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.
During Volunteer Appreciation Week April 22-26, we'd like to give a special thank you to all the volunteers districtwide in this video.
On Friday, April 12, 2024, former Poudre School District bus paraprofessional Tyler Zanella appeared in 8th Judicial District Court for a sentencing hearing.
This is the maximum sentence the court will allow; for a total of 12.5 years. For the entirety of the sentence there will be a no contact order in place for all victims and no contact with anyone under the age of 18, including his own children. PSD terminated the former employee immediately upon his arrest on May 24, 2023, and he is not eligible for reemployment in PSD.
As Poudre School District is engaged in Long-Range Planning work – involving boundary adjustments, school consolidations, and educational program changes – our community can get information from many different sources. This is, in many ways, a good thing. It shows that people are engaged and invested in this complex and important topic, and they are seeking and sharing varying perspectives.

Poudre School District was excited to honor exceptional staff across the district at the PSD Celebrates event April 2 at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins. Thank you to all who attended to support and recognize our phenomenal staff.
