Emily Leetham
EAS Specialist

Emily joined the EAS team in the spring of 2025, after working for many years at the Health District of Northern Larimer County's Connections mental health program. Previous to pursuing her career, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from CSU. Over the years, Emily has found her passion lies in the "behind the scenes" support for the teams of mental health professionals providing invaluable direct care to our community. Emily manages the primary operations of EAS, ensuring compliance with PSD's Mental Health and Substance Use benefit plan, working with EAS's Preferred Provider Network, and maintaining client confidentiality, which is a cornerstone of EAS.

 

 

Sam Cuff
EAS Administrative Office Assistant

Sam earned her English Composite degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho and, upon graduation, became a middle school English teacher for three years. Sam left teaching to work in the private sector in the Denver Metro area, with an emphasis on office and administrative support. After moving to Fort Collins in 2021, Sam felt it was time to return to the world of public education and began searching for opportunities to support educators. Sam loves opportunities that allow her to support others and always wants to help in any way she can. Sam started with EAS in April of 2024. 

 

Renee Gilkey, EAS Counselor

 

Renee Gilkey, PsyD, LP
EAS Manager and Counselor

Renee is a Licensed Psychologist who joined the EAS Team in January 2022 after 12 years working in university counseling centers. She served as the Associate Director and Training Director at the University of Northern Colorado Counseling Center. In this role, Renee provided clinical services to college students and faculty and staff through the University’s Employee Assistance Program, coordinated and provided trainings and clinical supervision to graduate students, and managed daily operations of the center. Renee is passionate about helping others and approaches therapy through a relational, multicultural and integrative lens, utilizing evidence-based approaches to assist clients in creating lasting change. She is an EMDR practitioner and has experience in working with relational concerns, anxiety, depression, identity-related issues, eating disorders, substance use issues, work and career-related concerns, women’s issues, grief and loss and trauma-focused work. Renee wholeheartedly seeks to connect and create collaborative working relationships with clients, meeting them where they are at, with compassion, empathy, and genuineness.

 

Kathy Forrest, EAS Counselor

 

Kathy Forrest, LPC, CAS
EAS Counselor

Kathy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Specialist with over 30 years of experience providing behavioral health services in Colorado. Kathy has devoted much of her career to community mental health as a therapist, and eventually as a director.  She loves working with clients from all backgrounds and has supported clients struggling with stress, anxiety, grief, substance use and depressive symptoms, as well as crisis situations. Kathy utilizes evidence-based practices such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and other strategies that help us be our best selves in the 8 Dimensions of Wellness (Emotional, Occupational, Spiritual, Intellectual, Physical, Environmental, Financial, and Social). Kathy's approach to counseling is one of respect, compassion, encouragement, and problem-solving in the context of a person's culture, relationships and the constant change all around us.  Kathy believes that life presents all of us with challenges at times that we must navigate so we can find the joy and meaning we seek.

 

Corie Helms, EAS Counselor

Corie Helms, LCSW, CAS
EAS Counselor

Corie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with almost 20 years of experience in the field. Corie has been Clinical Director of Outpatient Programs and Behavioral Health Supervisor at two large behavioral health facilities in Northern Colorado for the last several years.  Previous work has included crisis assessment and intervention, field placement work and supervision with CSU students, adoption home studies, work with survivors of domestic violence and providing prevention education. Corie's therapeutic approach is to create a non-judgmental, collaborative, and empowering space to treat the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. Corie utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, Narrative Therapy, CBT, DBT, and EMDR.

Kelsey Pavlidis, LCSW
EAS Counselor

Kelsey holds a master's degree in social work from Colorado State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Prior to joining EAS, she supported Larimer County employees through the Wellness Clinic and has a strong background in community-based services. Kelsey believes that meaningful connection is at the heart of effective care. She incorporates a variety of evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other therapeutic modalities. Her approach is grounded in a strength-based, person-centered, and holistic framework that prioritizes the unique experiences and goals of each individual. Kelsey has extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and work-related stress.
