Employee Programs

Poudre School District offers a variety of programs for employees to not only help them grow professionally, but to enhance their education as well as mental well being. Programs include tuition reimbursement, mentoring for new teachers and employee assistance services for employee  mental and physical health.

  • Mentoring - The PSD Mentoring program offers new teachers support, preparing them to be confident and highly-effective educators. 

  • Employee Assistance Services - PSD offers employees EAS services to help cope with the demands and stresses of life. EAS staff offer problem-solving strategies and counseling services to help employees with personal issues in a positive healthy manner. EAS provides assessment, treatment planning and referrals to in-network providers. Counseling services are confidential. 

  • National Board for Professional Teaching Standards -  PSD educators who begin the national board certification process are reimbursed a percentage by PSD for each component they complete. Current PSD teachers who are NBPTS certified receive an annual stipend as long as they are employed by PSD, certification is active and they meet additional criteria.   • Tuition Reimbursement - Current employees may be eligible to receive reimbursement money to complete college courses that qualify them to receive a teaching license. Employees receiving tuition assistance agree to continue their employment with PSD. More information about this program is available on the Staff website.

  • Wellness -  The Employee Wellness program includes an Employee Health Clinic and Integrative Health Management System, WellWorks Employee Wellness Portal, and Employee Wellness Advisory Council. In-depth information about these benefits is available on the Staff website.
