Let's celebrate!

The Class of 2022 graduates are exemplars, and Poudre School District is honored to celebrate their accomplishments at convocation ceremonies this May. Here is a guide to graduation and what you need to know about these events. 


Schedule of ceremonies

Tuesday, May 17

  • Poudre High School General Education Diploma/Opportunities Unlimited, 6 p.m., Timberline Church, 2908 S. Timberline Road in Fort Collins


Wednesday, May 18 

  • Cooper Home, 1 p.m., Cooper Home, 217 W. Swallow Road in Fort Collins  


Thursday, May 19

  • Project Search, 6 p.m., Drake Centre, 802 W. Drake Road in Fort Collins  

The following ceremonies will be held at the Performance Hall at the Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia St. in Fort Collins: 


Friday, May 20

  • Community Connections, 1 p.m., boardroom at the Johannsen Support Services Center, 2407 LaPorte Ave., Fort Collins


Saturday, May 21

The following ceremonies will be held at Colorado State University Moby Arena, 951 W. Plum St., Fort Collins


Tuesday, May 24 

  • Fort Collins High School General Education Diploma/Opportunities Unlimited, 6 p.m., McNeal Auditorium at Fort Collins High School, 3400 Lambkin Way.

 

Lincoln Center, Timberline Church and FCHS McNeal Auditorium details 

Please direct questions about a specific ceremony to the appropriate school. 

Guests: There is no limit to the number of guests per graduate who may attend and we are not requiring tickets.  

When to arrive:  

  • Schools will communicate with graduates about when to arrive.  
  • Doors open one hour before each ceremony. 


Parking:  

  • All parking is free. 
  • Please consider carpooling or other ways to reduce the number of vehicles. 


Interpretation services: 

  • Families who need Spanish-speaking or hearing-impaired interpretation services should contact their school to coordinate supports at their graduate’s ceremony. 
  • PSD interpreters will be available for Spanish-speaking families. 
  • An ASL interpreter will be at each ceremony.

When to arrive:  

  • Schools will communicate with graduates about when to arrive.  
  • Doors open one hour before each ceremony; please do not arrive earlier.  


Parking:  

  • Attendants will direct families to free parking in lots to the west and north of Moby.  
  • Please consider carpooling or other ways to reduce the number of vehicles. 


Where to enter Moby Arena:  

  • Graduates enter through the southern, upper doors.  
  • Guests enter through the northern, upper doors. 


Magnometers:  

  • CSU requires that all guests and employees pass through a metal detector.
  • Alternative accommodations for screening will be provided for those who need it. 
  • Guests who refuse screening will be denied entry. 
  • All personal items, including cameras, must go through the metal detectors. 


Clear-bag policy, water bottles and food:  


Seating and guests: There is no limit to the number of guests per graduate who may attend and we are not requiring tickets. 


ADA accessibility:  

  • CSU does not have wheelchairs; please bring one if needed.  
  • You may drop members of your party off near the west entrance of Moby before proceeding to parking.
  • One individual may sit with a guest in ADA-accessible seating, which is available on a first-come, first-served basis. 


Interpretation services: 

  • PSD interpreters will be available for Spanish-speaking families. Attendants will direct families where they may sit for these services. 
  • Guests who need hearing-impaired interpretation services may sit in Section N on the south side of Moby.
