Provides recommendations and feedback to PSD
The Gifted Advisory Board (GAB) provides input to the school district concerning ongoing and emergent needs and issues related to the education of gifted students in PSD. This is an advisory board that makes recommendations and offers feedback - not a policy-making entity. Throughout their work, GAB members maintain a solution-focused districtwide lens (not focused on individual schools) and they use inclusive leadership to guide their efforts and recommendations to the district gifted program coordinator.
GAB Meetings
GAB meetings are held four or five times each school year. Meeting agendas and other resources are linked on this web page within a week of the meeting. Seats on the GAB hold either a one- or two-year term limit.
