Three PSD schools celebrate milestone anniversaries this school year!

Here's to 50 years and many more!

Schools have long been the cornerstones of communities where students, staff and families gather. From a log cabin with two students in 1866 to Colorado’s ninth largest school district in 2022, Poudre School District continues to grow and add to its long history.  

Each PSD school has a unique story that reaches across generations and touches many lives over the years. PSD is proud to recognize schools celebrating major milestones and anniversaries.

Congratulations to these three schools celebrating their 50th anniversary in the 2022-23 school year:

Beattie Elementary School 

Beattie celebrated their 50th anniversary Aug. 26, 2022, which included a short presentation before opening the building for all attendees to walk through the memories.

Boltz Middle School

 Boltz will host its anniversary 4:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 6.

Rocky Mountain High School

 Rocky plans to celebrate throughout the year with events announced at a later time.
