Dallen Campbell is PSD's new director of infrastructure and technical services

Dallen Campbell, PSD IT directorPoudre School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Dallen Campbell to serve as the director of infrastructure and technical services in the Information Technology (IT) Department. Campbell started his new role with PSD in December. 

As director of infrastructure and technical services, Campbell said he is excited to work with a team of highly skilled professionals who are focused on advancing technology support for adults and children alike in PSD. 

“Everyone I connect with is driven, passionate about their job, and focused on the future of students,” Campbell said. 

That’s a mission he shares with his colleagues. 

“I am passionate about bringing the right tools at the right time to students, teachers, and staff,” Campbell said

Bud Hunt, PSD chief technology officer, said Campbell brings a wealth of technology and industry experience to the team, as well as a deep understanding of the needs of the IT team. Hunt said Campbell is a “people person as well as a technologist.” 

“Dallen's insights into the intersection of people, processes and technologies will create new and improved opportunities for our PSD community to engage in powerful learning experiences and get the work of the district done.” 

Hunt also noted that Campbell’s industry experience will help the district make continuous improvements to process and service delivery for students and staff. 

Campbell comes to PSD from Watson Mills & Design/Schacht Mille Works in Lafayette, Colo., where he served as the IT leader and architect. In that role, he developed and led the company’s Information Technology, Business Intelligence, and System and Process teams and balanced finding technology solutions with developing future leaders and a positive, productive workplace culture. Before that, he held multiple titles at Uncommon Solutions, Inc., in Greenwood Village including director of Information Technology Services, vice president of Service Delivery and vice president of Strategy and Architecture. 

Campbell is no stranger to Northern Colorado - he earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics with an emphasis in computer science from the University of Northern Colorado and previously worked as the IT operations manager for Abound Solar in Fort Collins, Loveland, and Longmont. 

Outside of work, Campbell is a family man with a wife and children ranging from the ages of 6 to 20. He likes working on personal growth of the mind, heart, body and soul and gaming, especially the new and exciting things coming out of the virtual reality sector.
