Online Education

Options are 100% virtual and blended/hybrid learning

100 % virtual online learning:

Poudre Global Academy Virtual (K-12)

Those interested in a fully virtual education model have the option of applying for School of Choice to the new Poudre Global Academy Virtual (PGAV). PGAV replaces PSD Virtual, which was available as the online option during the 2020-21 school year and ended when the school year concluded. PGAV is available to students in grades K-12. PGAV students are provided a device to support their online learning.

Considerations:

  • Students need a designated adult at home to partner with their teacher and support their learning. The time commitment of this partnership varies based on the age of the child and their readiness for online learning.

  • Students need internet access at their residence.

  • Students who applied for PGAV for the 2021-22 school year through School Choice or submitted a School Transfer Request are not co-enrolled at their original school like last year with Poudre School District Virtual Learning (PSDV).  Parents are giving up their student’s seat at the original school if they accept a seat at PGAV.

    • Current 2021-22 School Year - If a student is accepted at PGAV for the 2021-22 school year through School Choice or by School Transfer Request, and parent wants the student to return to their original school, either the neighborhood school or school choice school during the current school year, the parent would follow the School Transfer Request process.  Acceptance back at the original school would depend on if space is available for that grade level.

    • For the 2022-23 School Year - If a student is accepted at PGAV for the 2021-22 school year through School Choice or by School Transfer Request, and the parent wants the student to return to their original school, either the neighborhood school or School Choice school for the 2022-23 school year, the parent follows the School Choice process. Students applying for their neighborhood school will be accepted.  Acceptance for School Choice students would be based on space availability for that grade level.
